Gamers are not Lamers

I had a run-in with this lady at the swimwear party. She and I were talking about different hobbies that people like and I casually told her that I was a gamer. She flipped shit and told me that I was a horrible person for doing that. I asked her to clarify what she meant and she said that games cause violence and get people killed. I told her that there were numerous studies done that disprove that widely held belief. She wouldn't hear of it and that's why I had to insult her. I told her she was a bigoted idiot.
